Dream of Desire Presents Solo Exhibition at Volcanic Gallery, Miami
Miami, FL – September 25–October 2, 2026 – Dream of Desire, the creative project of French mixed-media artist Thibo Villeneuve, presented a solo exhibition at Volcanic Gallery near Miami's Design District. The exhibition showcased Thibo's distinctive approach to contemporary art, bringing together layered compositions that reflects a visual journey about the chase of our desires.
Known for his distinctive approach to mixed media, Villeneuve combines stormy acrylic backgrounds layered with spray-painted typography, photographic imagery, and stenciled compositions. His work captures the complexity of humans emotions and the blurred lines between the "good and bad" visual narratives which feel both cinematic and deeply personal.
"Each piece spotlights a moment or dialogue, like a scene in a film," reads the artist's statement.
Throughout the exhibition, Villeneuve's visual language moved between abstraction and representation, exploring the pursuit of our desires through striking contrasts, fragmented imagery, and bold compositions. His practice extends beyond the traditional canvas, with original stencils translated into one-of-a-kind, hand-painted jackets that blur the boundaries between fine art and wearable expression.
On view from September 25th through October 2nd, the exhibition offered Miami audiences an opportunity to experience Villeneuve's artistic vision, where photography, painting, and fashion intersect.
